Sports Team MASCOTS

Central to the all new TRUE BLUE marketing campaign for the 1984 Winnipeg Blue Bombers was the introduction of a couple of rascals named BUZZ and BOOMER, who have lived on as two of the most recognizable mascots in Canadian sports.  The characters were designed by another lovable character named Rob Glennie, who was employed at that time by Walter Kulyk Design. PJ was responsible for every facet of their evolution including a Name the Mascots campaign, supervision of the costume build and recruitment of the people who would ultimately wear the costumes.
